Chris is a board member of Four Architecture & Design and also a director of the member company, AXIS Architecture.
Chris joined AXIS in 1995 and became a Director of the Practice in 2001.
After training at the University of Sheffield, School of Architecture, Chris worked for Lloyds Bank premises department in the City of London and Mott Macdonald working on a number of high-profile commercial developments including Twickenham RFC and West Ham Stadia and work for Rank Leisure.
After returning to Sheffield, Chris has become increasingly involved in a number of large scale residential and regeneration projects for the major house builders, working in conjunction with several housing association. Clients include Places for People, David Wilson Homes, Ben Bailey Homes, Hasall Homes, Bellway Urban Regeneration, Gleeson Homes, Miller Homes and Lovell Homes.
Chris has further experience in the educational system working for both Sheffield Hallam University and Loughborough University.
In addition to his design and construction management skills, covering new build, refurbishment and conservation work. Chris has overall responsibility for IT facilities and Chartered Practice Management for AXIS.
Chris is a qualified Eco Homes/Code for Sustainable Homes assessor and is a registered member of the Association of Project Safety.
